Short Courses - Refund Policy

 

Short Courses/Continuing Professional Development Refund Policy

 

For the purposes of this policy reference to “Coventry University” or the “University” shall be construed to mean Coventry University itself or one of Coventry University Group’s subsidiaries as applicable to the particular transaction.

 

1. Cancellation by client

Refunds and partial refunds of course fees will be made subject to receipt by the University of a Written Notice of cancellation from the client.  The Notice will be effective from the date of receipt by the University and the refund will be made in accordance with the table below

Within 2 – 4 weeks of the start date

Less than 2 weeks of the start date

No refund

 

No refund will be given where cancellation takes place less than 2 weeks prior to the course commencement date UNLESS the course was booked less than 2 weeks prior to the course commencement date in which case a full refund will be made where cancellation is made within 8 days of the date of the contract.  Where the course commences within the 8 day period the right to cancel, under the Distance Selling Regulations, ends on the date of commencement of the course.

 

2. Cancellation of the Course/CPD module by Coventry University

Coventry University reserves the right to cancel a course.  If this occurs the University will refund 100% of course fees that have been paid. The University does not accept liability for any other costs that may have been incurred. 

 

3. Distance learning courses

Distance learning students should be aware that when they have received coursework they will be deemed to have commenced the course and no refunds will be given.
